    The hungry Meerca is back - in the new improved Meerca Chase II!!! Race around the screen collecting Neggs of all different colours, from the lowly Happy Negg (yellow) to the super-rare Fish Negg. Avoid the Red Neggs at all cost - run in to one of these and it's game over.

    This game should run a lot faster, and there are a few new modes to check out. Freestyle allows you to rotate instead of turning in 90-degree angles. Maze adds an extra element to the game field - evil hedges of death!

    Playing Meerca Chase is simple, and for those who play non-stop hours of the game "Snake", then you will be excellent at this game. You are a simple Meerca who has to go around and collect neggs, the only problem is the more and more neggs you catch, the longer your tail gets! Plus red neggs pop up all over the place and stay, making it harder to navigate your way through the horrible mess. Different colour neggs will come up, and each has a different negg point value. Meerca Chase 2 is also different from the first, you have the option to navigation through mazes and such!
    • Do not touch your tail or run into it.
    • Avoid hitting the walls, you lose then.
    • Do NOT get the red neggs, they end your game!

    Happiness Negg: This is the negg will you get quite frequently. It is worth one point.
    Easy: 3 | Medium: 5 | Hard: 8
    Blue Negg: This is the negg will you get quite frequently. It is worth three points.
    Easy: 9 | Medium: 15 | Hard: 24
    Green Negg: This green negg is uncommon, but not rare. It is worth four points.
    Easy: 12 | Medium: 20 | Hard: 32
    Gray Negg: This gray negg is very uncommon, but not rare. It is worth five points.
    Easy: 15 | Medium: 25 | Hard: 40
    Yellow Negg with Red: This yellow negg with red is uncommon, but not rare. It is worth ten points.
    Easy: 30 | Medium: 50 | Hard: 80
    Rainbow Negg: This rainbow negg is rare, but not as rare as the fish negg. It is worth twenty points.
    Easy: 60 | Medium: 100 | Hard: 160
    Fish Negg: This fish negg is extremely rare and is worth the most points. It is worth fifty point.
    Easy: 150 | Medium: 250 | Hard: 400

    Scoring

    How the scores work
    First, check out the table above with the list of neggs and their values, because that is important. When playing on the different difficulties, each difficult is worth more than the last.

    What this means is the neggs in easy, the score for them is multiplied by 3, and so on. For example, the fish negg is worth 50 points, so on easy it would be worth 150 points. And since the points are 120nps:100pt scored, you will receive more neopoints for your effort.

    The Three Different Options

    Maze, Classic, or Freestyle
    Not only can you pick your difficulty, but you can also select what KIND or MODE of meerca chase you'd like to play. Classic is the basic snake, Maze is where you have to go through a maze (its more difficult than you think) and freestyle is EXTREMELY difficult to get used to (the controls are weird). For freestyle, it isn't 90 degree turns. You can move in ANY direction you want.

    Fercious Negg and Gravity mode

    The cheat modes on meerca chase
    These cheats will not get you froze, Neopets has invented them themselves for extra fun! Take the cheats and type them into the main screen. The two versions you can play is fercious negg (ferociousneggsareontheloose) to have red neggs bounce around the screen instead of chasing in the same spot. They don't directly follow you, but there is a lot of them. The next mode is basically what people use to get a trophy, since the amount of neopoints you receive is a crazy amount. It is called gravity mode (superextrahypergravitymode). You have to steer the meerca away from the hole in the middle and away from the circle walls while navigating around searching for neggs.
    • When in gravity mode, try just going around in a circle without touching the wall.
    • With the ferious red negg, try to watch their direction to predict where to go.
