Tutorial
Now for what you came for!

1. First, find an image you'd like to use. For me, I used a beautiful drawing from neondragonart.com that she provides for people to colour, so all credit to her for this drawing. She is an amazing artist. IF you use this image and decide to post it ANYWHERE, even for display, keep her credit OR give her credit.
2. Go to your layers pallete and select the drawing on "Darken". Make sure this layer is ALWAYS on the top.
3. Create a new layer and name it "Wings Inside". Use the magic wand
to select the inside of her wings. Hold down "Shift" to select her other wing parts.

4. Fill in her wings with a nice pink gradient. You can do this by making the gradient, then filling in her wings pure pink, then going to the "F" on the layers pallete and going to Gradient Overlay, THEN select the gradient.
5. Make a new layer (name it "Skin") and by using the Brush Tool
, select a round brush and colouring in her skin a nice skin colour (fbebc7). It doesn't matter if you go into the leaf or her hair, the layers ontop will cover that. :)
6. Make a new layer and name it "Leaf". Pick a nice green colour (9ecc45) and use the Brush Tool, like in step 5, to colour in the leaf.
7. Make a new layer and name it "Hair". Pick a nice brown colour (958201) and use the Brush Tool again to colour in her hair.
8. Go to your layers pallete and make a layer at the VERY BOTTOM of all the other layers. By using a gradient, you can make a nice background.
9. By selecting a lighter, golden colour (c8ae03), you can create highlights in her hair to make the picture look more realistic.

10. By doing what you did in step 9, you can do that to her hair, leaf, wings, etc. to make your picture stand out more.
