Tutorial

Now for what you came for!
1. First you need to use a Blank Topbanner Template. I am going to use the image below for this tutorial, you can do the same.

2. Paste the topbanner template into PS. Find an image to match and paste it too.

3. Use the magic wand to erase the white around your image. Position your image to where you want it (preferably left).

4. Change the Opacity to about 45%.

5. Use your Marquee Tool to delete any areas of the image that "hang off the topbanner". You should have something like this now:

6. Now time for background text! Use the text tool to create new text. Have the colour as black, size as 48pt, and text as Arial OR Georgia. Type in any text you want. Change the opacity to 18%. Erase any text that may "hang off the image".

7. Paste a new font. Make it any font you want and add any effects you want. You should have a complete topbanner now. Save!
