Now for what you came for!
1. Start off by pasting two texts. The Drop shadow colour should ALWAYS be lighter than the main text. I use a light grey because it always works best. Make sure both texts are the same size, same text, etc.

2. Now make sure your background is set to transparent by selecting the Selection Tool
then hitting the second image.

3. Now still using the Selection Tool, outline the main text and paste it over top the drop shadow text like below.
